There are two battery sizes: a 62-kWh and an 82-kWh one. The 62-kWh battery can be fully charged with a Level 2 charger in about six and a quarter hours. The 82-kWh battery takes longer to fully charge- about eight hours, but it delivers improved driving range and performance capabilities. 

The base model comes with a single 201-horsepower electric motor and the 62-kWh battery, which delivers an estimated 209 miles of range. Drivers can upgrade to the larger 82-kWh battery, boosting the horsepower to 282 and the range to 291 miles. The top-tier model boasts a dual-motor AWD configuration with the larger battery, which delivers 330 hp and a 263-mile range. 

All versions of the ID.4 are rated to tow up to 2700 pounds.
